Zip had a great show career, as a 2 year old with Todd Summers aboard, he became the 1998 AQHA.Reserve World Champion and the 1998 Reserve Congress Champion. He was the 6th leading money earner.in 1998. As a 3 year old, in 1999 he earned his Superior in Western Pleasure and then shipped off to Carol Metcalf to train in Western Riding. In 2000 he earned his ROM in Western Riding and was 9th at The All American Quarter Horse Congress and 12th at the AQHA World Show in Western Riding. Zip has since then retired to stud duties. His first foal crop was in 2002 and was exceptional. The foals all have consistent long necks, short backs and all are stunning movers, with the great disposition of their sire. The 2003 foal crop exceeded all of our expectations with "Zip" having his first cropout out of our Principal Investment mare "Slightly Damaged". The stud colt is registered with both AQHA & APHA!
