Mist is a beautifully proportioned Lippitt Morgan mare who stands about 14 hands. She is the granddaughter of the grand champion Lippitt mare Special Occasion. She is sweet natured and affectionate, although reserved with strangers and somewhat shy in new or strange places. In the herd she asserts dominance over other mares. Mist has been bred once, gave us an absolutely gorgeous, perfectly formed and healthy foal, and was an attentive, capable mother. She would be an asset to breeders looking for a typey, old-style Morgan mare, but buyers considering her for a breeding program should know that she needs to be given plenty of space when she's caring for a little one as she will defend her baby against strangers. Mist is an easy keeper with particularly sound feet and always stands perfectly for vet and farrier. She trailers well too, and she loves being groomed and fussed over. Mist has been backed and if unsold will be put into training as a riding mare next spring, since we no longer intend to breed horses.
